The Truth is: Wonderful Naples On-The-Gulf

The Naples Museum of Military history recently got a mention in Life In Naples Magazine’s article, “The Truth is: Wonderful Naples On-The-Gulf“. In the article, Lois Bolin recounts Naples’ interesting history with the Naples Airfield being placed on the defense improvement list in 1941 and how the U. S. Army Airfield began to train pilots for WWII combat. She continues to recount interesting facts about Naples’ part in WWI and how many of the veterans who served vowed to come back to this little paradise after the war. Many of those veterans and their families have donated memorabilia and artifacts to the Naples Museum of Military history.
