VISIT OUR MUSEUM. We are The Naples Museum of Military History. We have thousands of military artifacts from all branches of the Military.
Come and see us at the Naples Municipal Airport which was originally built in 1942 by the Army Corps of Engineers to train pilots for WWII. Naples Army Airfield trained Army Air Corp pilots in basic flight and aerial gunnery. It was one of 4 bases built in S Florida, Buckingham, Page field, Naples Airport, and Opa Locka.
“WHAT A SURPRISE!”

“We were visiting the Avis desk in the commercial terminal at Naples airport. I spotted the museum and wandered in. It is full of interesting exhibits and items donated by veterans and others. The staff is delightful and very happy to share their knowledge. I will certainly go back for another look and, if you have a spare hour, would highly recommend a visit to this great little museum in this rather surprising location”…… United Kingdom
See what began as a Museum Honoring Military Aviation in WWII but has evolved into so much more. We now have more Space filled with artifacts displayed in custom cases view-able on 3 sides. These cases are arranged by the different eras of our Military history and different outfits, countries, and weapons.

“GREAT PLACE FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE INTERESTED IN MILITARY MEMORABILIA”

Small museum but very well kept and operated by mostly volunteers, who are very knowledgeable about the exhibits. There is no admission but donations are greatly appreciated. Although it’s small you can spend an hour or so just browsing around and reading all the great stuff. Makes you proud of our veterans.
You can now see historical artifacts dating back to the Revolutionary War and all the way up to the present day Iraq & Afghanistan conflicts.
“WONDERFUL ADDITION TO NAPLES”

“Went to see this when they first opened a few years ago and really enjoyed all the memorabilia. Take the time to read & absorb as much as you can as this is what makes America great. Visited again a few weeks ago when the Hurricane Hunters were at the airport. I stayed in the background as the docent asked 3 young boys several questions about our flag. They answered each one correctly and my heart swelled with pride as at that moment I knew our future would be in good hands. Their parents have taught them well and they should be very proud of the fine citizens their little people are turning into. The Naples Museum Of Military History and the Holocaust Museum of Naples should be required visits for each and every student in Collier County. You can’t define your future if you don’t understand your past. Kudos to all those that donated their personal items to make this such a special place to visit.” Daughter-in-law to a Big Red One Normandy survivor and Army Veteran myself of the Big Red One.
