Board Members Page, I would like to take this opportunity to announce the new Board of Directors for The Naples Museum of Military History, a local nonprofit Military museum.

This corporation is organized to acquire and preserve significant Military artifacts and to display these objects and in a fashion conducive to public viewing and understanding.

May I introduce the new board of directors. ( They are listed in order of when they joined )


Robert D. McDonaldPresident, of Punta Gorda, FL, President of the Museum of Military Memorabilia from 2008 to present. Now  The Naples Museum of Military History. A Military Collector for over 50 years.The last original Founder of this Museum and the one that has gotten this Museum where it is today thru his tireless devotion to our Military History. And is an Active member of the Military Vehicle Preservation Association (M.V.P.A.) Veteran U.S. Army, Paratrooper, 101st Airborne Division active July 1959- July 1962. Robert is also responsible for setting up the display cases and the items on display.


David H. Collins-Director, of Naples FL., Has been involved with the museum since before it was officially opened on 11-11-2011, as well as a participant in many Veterans events and mobile displays, is a participant in the Naples 4th of July parade every year Driving his Restored  1970 Ford M151A2 “MUTT” and is experienced in Military vehicle restoration. He is also our Website Designer & Editor and puts out the internet newsletter every month and is responsible for internet fundraising.


Joel Banow-Director, of Naples FL. Was in the Army Served in Korea post-war and signal corps school at Fort Monmouth NJ. and is a retired Television producer and director with fifty years of award-winning experience, including Director of the Lunar Landings for CBS, is a Member of the board for the Naples Players, and creator of Military Miniatures.


Chris Nind-Director, of Naples FL., is a Retired career British Army and for the last 20 years has been working in the nonprofit sector. Presently, Executive Director of a local non-profit.


Randy Cash-Director, of Naples FL, Randy was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the Army through the University of Miami ROTC in 1981. Randy retired from the Army as a Major in 1999 after serving in Northern Iraq, Korea, Turkey, Germany, and commanding a UH-60 Blackhawk assault helicopter company during Operation Restore Hope in Somalia. Randy is a graduate of the US Army Command and General Staff College and the US Army Combined Arms Staff Service School. Randy is currently the owner and President of Flamingo Air Management Incorporated headquartered in Naples, Florida.


Kevin McGovernDirector, Professor Kevin H. Govern (Lieutenant Colonel, U.S. Army – Retired) began his legal career as an Army Judge Advocate, serving 20 years at every echelon during peacetime and war in worldwide assignments involving every legal discipline. He teaches at Ave Maria School of Law and has also served as an Assistant Professor of Law at the United States Military Academy, John Jay College of Criminal Justice, and the California University of Pennsylvania. He has published widely and spoken frequently on international and comparative law, national security and homeland security law, military operations, and professional ethics.


Anne Brown-Director, Ann Brown is Originally from Radnor Pa. Past President of Southwest Florida Federated Republican Women, Member of Collier County Republican Executive Committee. Ann is also our Board Secretary.
