VISIT OUR MUSEUM at The Naples Museum of Military History. We have thousands of military artifacts from all branches of the Military.
Visit our museum at the Naples Municipal Airport which was originally built in 1942 by the Army Corps of Engineers to train pilots for the pacific theater in WWII. It trained Fighter pilots to accompany the long range Bombers. It was one of 4 bases built in S Florida, Buckingham, Page field, Naples Airport and Opa Locka. With Buckingham being the main base.
What has begun as a Museum Honoring Military Aviation in WWII has evolved into so much more. We now have two rooms filled with artifacts displayed in custom cases viewable on 3 sides. These cases are arranged by the different eras of our Military history and different outfits, countries, and weapons.
There are Docents in each of the two rooms that will answer questions and do their best to make your visit an enjoyable one and we hope you will return and bring a friend or two.
You can now see historical artifacts dating back to the Revolutionary War and all the way up to the present day Iraq & Afghanistan conflicts.
